HTC PU PRIMER 1800
DESCRIPTION
HTC PU Primer 1800 is a water dispersion of a polymer with film-forming and cross-linker effects.
Its particular monomeric composition allows to obtain a film with fairly elastic properties and high surface hardness.
HTC PU Primer 1800 is a fluid latex with self leveling characteristics: thanks to this feature it can be used alone for substrate applications (primer).
The content of emulsifiers in HTC PU Primer 1800 formulation makes it compatible with all common building binders (lime, gypsum, cement and hydraulic lime).

PROPERTIES / APPLICATIONS
- HTC PU Primer 1800 can be used alone as a single-component primers with water-repellent and reinforcing proprieties, or as a bicomponent latex adhesive for powder formulations (tile adhesive, thermal coat, shavings).
- HTC PU Primer 1800 has a high compatibility with building products and it can be used as a liquid resin in all most common paste products.
- HTC PU Primer 1800 is suitable for all adsorbent supports, in particular for the problematic ones (ex. Micro-cellular concrete, adsorbent brick, clay solid bricks and ruined walls): it’s able to reinforce the substrate and to improve the anchorage of subsequent applications.
- HTC PU Primer 1800 is not indicated for smooth and non-absorbent surfaces (ex. Metal, plastic, glass, gres).
- Primers like HTC PU Primer 1800 are also able to improve the tone of the colored paint subsequently applied.
- After complete drying the film obtained has a glossy finish and a non-sticky surface.
- Drying times depend on humidity, temperature and thickness of the film.
STORAGE CONDITIONS
- The product have to be protected from frost and should be stored in closed container at temperature between 5 and 35 °C.
- The product have conditions the product won’t change its properties in a period of 12 months from the date of production.
