HTC Primer AC 168
DESCRIPTION
HTC Primer AC 168 is a high performance cementation waterproofing membrane and pre-packed as a two
component material, consisting of a liquid polymer as part A and powder as part B.

APPLICATION
HTC Primer AC 168 is used on variety substrates
- External use to protect and waterproof such as the drinking water tanks, reservoirs, swimming pool, balcony,
top roof and planter, etc. - Internal use to provide both positive or negative waterproofing such as basements, retaining walls,
bathrooms, kitchens and all subjected to be wet rooms in the building, etc.
PREPARATION
The substrate surface should be structurally sound, clean, and free of dust, oil, grease and loose particles. Fill up
the irregular surface such as the blow holes and honeycombs to achieve a smooth and level surface.

MIXING
Place 70% of part A (liquid) in pail and mix it with slow speed by electric drill. Add the part B (Powder) slowly
until mixture is free of lump. Place the rest of part B and continue the mixing at least 3 minutes to get
homogeneous mix.
INSTALLATION
Wet the surface is recommended. Apply the HTC Primer AC 168 evenly on to the surface with brush or print
roller. Second coat should be apply after the previous coat has completely dried. To avoid crack in the corner or
the joint between 2 surfaces, it is recommended to apply the reinforcement such as an elastic fabric or mesh scrim.
AFTER TREATMENT
HTC Primer AC 168 does not design to dry out too rapidly. Protect against quick drying by winds and high
temperatures, by fog-spraying with water for two hours after application.
CLEANING
Clean tools and equipment with water before the waterproof coating hardens. Once it cures, the coating can only
be removed by mechanical methods.
COVERAGE
HTC Primer AC 168 is 1.3 ~ 1.5 kg / m² to get 0.5mm to 0.75mm thick film build per coat. The actual coverage
depends upon the method of application.
CAUTIONS
- Do not add water, cement, admixtures, sand or any other additive during the mixing and application.
- Do not apply on frozen or frosted surfaces.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
HTC Primer AC 168 is alkaline like normal cement and can cause skin irritations to persons with sensitive skin.
Wear gloves and masks are recommended to prevent the direct skin contact. If contact occurs wash thoroughly
with water and call a doctor.
STORAGE CONDITIONS
Keep the HTC Primer AC 168 under the cool and dry area and can be stored for 12 months in original packing.
