In order to bond both chemically and mechanically ,Hi-Tech Coat was designed a very low viscosity and self leveling properties, so the coatings are absorbed into various substrates more easily.
A fundamental component differentiating Hi-Tech from other products, our technology is maximizing bonding properties to many substrates and is the cornerstone of our superior performance .
Important Precautions :
■ Substrate must be free of dirt, oil, grease, wax and other contaminations

Application :
Surface Preparation is one of the most important criteria of any successful application of the resinous flooring system. All substrates must be properly prepared as outlined

Moisture Tolerance
This system requires a dry substrate. Any moisture vapor transmission test revealing over 3.5 pounds per 1000 feet/24 hours requires a moisture barrier system installed prior to application.
Surface Preparation
Due to the extremely low viscosity of HTC 805, self priming is very suitable. Ensure the substrate is free of contaminants, and the pores are open to allow HTC 805 to penetrate the surface.

HTC 805 is a two component material (1 parts B to 1 part A by volume). Mix Part A & Part B while stirring , using a slow speed mechanical mixer(300 rpm). Mix until homogenous liquid is obtained (approximately 2-3 minutes ). Do not whip too much air into the product, which may entrap the air bubbles into the coating film. Pour the components slowly to avoid introducing air bubbles.
It is recommended to be applied by rolling or brushing. Easy application is accomplished by pouring the freshly mixed material on the floor, spreading to the desired thickness with a rubber squeegee, and finish rolling immediately. It should be roller or squeegee applied 4-6 mils thickness per coat, depending on system requirements. Total application time should take no longer than 15 minutes.
HTC 805 will be tack-free within 1 hour at 25℃ and 75% relative humidity. Re-coat time is over 2-3 hours in general. Light pedestrian traffic is possible after 8 hours ,24-48 hours before heavy pedestrian or automotive traffic. It is highly stain resistance and hot tire resistance after 72 hours.

Limitations
1. Avoid applying HTC polyaspartic coatings in direct sunlight during times of extreme heat. This can cause air bubbles being caught under the surface of the coating, wrinkling, blistering and pinholes. Schedule the
application for early morning or late afternoon when ambient and substrate temperatures are low.
2. For a suitable cure schedule, do not apply this coating at film thicknesses greater than 12 mils. At this film thickness, the surface will appear dry according to the dry to touch time established here but remain soft under
the surface, which can potentially cause defects if not enough time is allowed for a full through cure.
3. HTC polyaspartic is not intended for, immersion or application where moisture can reach the underside of the coating.
4. Protect both components A and B from freezing, heat, moisture and foreign materials.
5. In general, there is no temperature limitation when applying HTC polyaspartic coatings.
Warning: It is very important to apply HTC 805 Polyaspartic coatings over a completely dry substrate. Failing to do so, will result in water reacting with Polyaspartic part B ; leading to foaming and whitening, which will diminish the appearance.
Maintenance :
After completing the application of HTC 805 , the installer should provide the owner with maintenance instructions .
Storage Conditions :
– Storage in original sealed HTC container.
– Exposure to sunshine should be avoided.
– Recommended storage temperature: 0-30 °C
– Protect from moisture, heat and foreign material.
